USS Disclaimer

All my life, I have avoided controversy. It is not that I cannot hold my own in such times; like anyone I have experienced my fair share of controversy and have gained enough insight to know what and what not to do. However, with what I have been hearing, seeing and experiencing firsthand, controversy is inevitable with what I will be doing.

When I retired from competitive swimming last March, I promised myself to let bygones be bygones and move on. But as much as I would love to do that, I cannot forget what I have been forced to go through. I have forgiven all that I held responsible, let me be clear. But I will never forget what they did.

Perhaps I will create controversy. Perhaps I won't. I will leave that for you to decide.
